The Red Sox have set their World Series roster - and it is the same 25 guys that played in the ALCS. That means Clay Buchholz is on the list but the Sox still have not said when he will pitch in the series.

It is worth noting that Buchholz, if he does have some health issues (the Sox are not saying anything about issues), he could be removed from the roster and replaced by another pitcher.

If a positional player gets injured, that player could be removed and replaced by a positional player.

Here's the 25-roster the Sox will use to beat the St. Louis Cardinals...

• Pitchers (11): Craig Breslow, Clay Buchholz, Ryan Dempster, Felix Doubront, John Lackey, Jon Lester, Franklin Morales, Jake Peavy, Junichi Tazawa, Koji Uehara, Brandon Workman.

• Catchers (2): David Ross, Jarrod Saltalamacchia.
