The Boston Red Sox picked up a couple spring training wins and a couple impressive performances in each game.Catcher Blake Swihart has received much attention and is considered one of the top prospects in the Sox organization. He showed why when he helped Boston post a 7-6 win over Baltimore. Not only was he steady behind the plate, but also went 3-4 at the plate with a three-run homer.

In the other split squad game, the Sox beat Minnesota 4-2 in a game that Clay Buchholz started and pitched well. The righty pitched three no-hit innings and looked like the Buchholz of old. After walking the leadoff batter he retired the next 9 men he faced, four by way of the strikeout.
