Bucks Score Late, Advance To Title Game

The Bucksport football team got a scare form Orono but scored late to get the 17-13 semifinal win  and advance to the LTC Championship.The winning touchdown came with just 5:21 left to play when Matthew Stewart hit Josh Gray in the endzone on a 13 yard pass putting the Bucks in front 15-14. Stewart then completed the 2-point conversion pass to Gray for the final tally. Stewart finished 12-24 in the air for 190 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Bucksport will host Mattanawcook Academy for the LTC Championship next Saturday at 1pm. You can hear the game on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
