The Bangor girls basketball team has had their struggles this season, but on Tuesday night played one of their best games of the season in a 44-36 win over Skowhegan.Junior Mary Butler led the Rams with a solid all-around performance that included 15 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocked shots. After taking a 10 point lead into the locker room at half time, Bangor couldn't find the shooting touch to start the second half going scoreless for the first three minutes and 27 seconds before Butler scored the first of her eight points in the quarter. Katie Butler added 14 points in the Rams winning effort while Taylor Johnson scored a team high 12 points in the loss for the Indians.

Bangor improves to 4-8 with the win and will travel to Lewiston on Friday, Skowhegan falls to 7-4 with the loss.
