Butler’s 22 Leads Eagles

The Husson men's and women's basketball teams hit the road to Vermont and both came away with wins.The Husson men rebounded from their first loss of the season earlier this week to get the 86-78 victory. Trevon Butler scored a game high 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Eagles. Center Dan Flemming controlled the paint with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Husson stays unbeaten in the North Atlantic Conference running their record to 7-0. Next up is a stop at Lyndon State tonight.

The Husson women moved to 5-2 in conference play after beating Johnson State 86-76. Kissy Walker's starting five had a balanced night led by junior Rebecca Young who had a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds. The rest of the starters combined for 55 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 steals.Husson will look for conference win number six at Lyndon State tonight.
