Cameron Stadium Demolished

The renovation to Cameron Stadium in Bangor continues as the grandstands have been reduced to rubble.The process of removing the old structure began a couple weeks ago in preparation for the new grandstands which should be installed by the first or second week of the regular season.

The lights will also be replaced including new aluminum poles. Those however will not be operational this year meaning no night football will be played at Cameron.

Once funding is secured a building will be constructed behind the new grandstand that will house locker rooms, and restrooms.

The next phase of the project includes an artificial surface for the football field and expansion of the track from six to eight lanes.
