Can Orono High School's Jake Koffman throw the discus 200 feet today at the Class C State Championship Track & Field meet at Foxcroft Academy? He told us earlier in the week on 'The Morning Pitch Show' that his goal is to do just that in his final high school meet.

Last week at the Penobscot Valley Conference Championships, the Stanford bound Koffman threw it over 191 feet. He owns the state record at 189 - 09 set at last year's meet. Needless to say, he is the top seed for today's competition.

Mattanawcook Academy's Cayden Spencer-Thompson is the top seed in boys triple jump and long jump events.

Orono's Hannah Steelman is the top seed in the girls 1600 meter and 3200 meter running events.
