Ryan Dempster gets the start tonight when the Red Sox take on the Colorado Rockies at Fenway Park. The last time these teams played at Fenway was October 2007 when the Sox swept the Rockies in the world series.

Dempster and many other players on the field tonight were not part of the 13-1 and 2-1 wins back in 2007. In fact, the starter for Colorado tonight, Juan Nicasio, was pitching at rookie level for the Rockies.

Dempster has pitched well for the Sox lately, a 3.28 ERA in his last five starts, but has only two wins to show for it.

The Sox stand at 45-33, 2 1/2 games ahead of Baltimore and NY for first place in the AL East. The Rockies are 39-38, good for second place in the NL West.
