Today is UMaine's $350,000 payday game. That's how much Boston College will pay the Black Bears to come to Chestnut Hill and take on their ACC football team. A team that just knocked #9 USC Saturday night.

The Bears are coming off a loss to Bryant University last week.

So this step up game always comes with questions...Can Maine play a flawless game that it takes to beat a FBS team? Will BC be looking past the Bears because of the emotion of beating USC last week?

Here are some of the numbers....

- UMaine may want to plays some music from the early 1900's on the bus on the way to Boston. The Bears beat BC in 1913 (6-0), in 1914 (26-7) and in 1915 (14-0)...They have played four times since - BC has won all four and has outscored Maine 154-3.

- The Black Bears have 18 players from the state of Massachusetts. Coach Jack Cosgrove is a native of the state.

- Maine leads the CAA in rush yards allowed. The Bears defense has given up an average of 48 YPG.  Boston College is 2nd on the ACC is rushing yardage with 310 YPG.
