The Boston Bruins grabbed a 2-0 lead over the Washington Capitols just two minutes into the game but when they turned the lights out, it was the Caps getting the win, a 4-3 victory in a shootout.

Alex Ovechkin scored a goal in regulation and then got the game winner in the shootout.

The Bruins win streak stops at five games.

The B's do get a point in the standings for getting into overtime. They are now 20-10-6.
