UMaine second baseman Danny Casals clubbed two more home runs in yesterday's 9-7 loss at Boston College. He leads the Black Bears with 13 home runs.

And, Casals becomes the first UMaine player to hit 13 homers since Joe Hambelton did it in 2001.

The junior Casals is hitting .306 (3rd best on the team) with 13 home runs and a team leading 39 RBI.

The single season home run record at Maine belongs to Mark Sweeney. He hit 23 in the 1991 season.

NOTE: The Black Bears host the Hartford Hawks Friday and Saturday for a four game America East series. The final games of the regular season. Maine is 11-10 (AE) and in a four-way tie with Stony Brook, UMass Lowell and UMBC for second place.
