If you’re an NBA fan the draft is one of the single most fun nights of the year and last night didn’t disappoint. With one of the most talented classes in recent memory, yesterday’s draft saw the makeup of several teams change instantly. After having the chance to digest everything here were my takeaways.

“With the 6th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics select Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves…” Okay, so that’s not how the NBA draft works; but if this trade happens that’s what every Celtics fan will remember from this year’s draft; not which pick we had. Case in point, do you remember that we traded for Ray Allen or that Jeff Green was the 5th overall pick?

If I had to choose between last Sunday’s Game of Thrones finale and the NBA Finals, it’d be the finale.

Recently I played 18 holes with friend and golfing competitor Kevin at Bucksport Golf Club, where I ended up getting an up close and personal lesson in something called “Slope Rating”. You see, Bucksport is a very nice, and challenging, nine-hole course, with a slope rating of 136.
