MDI High School athletic administrator Bunky Dow has been named the MIAAA - Robert J. Lahey Award winner of the Athletic Administrator of the Year in Maine. The award is named after the late Bob Lahey who was a longtime AD at Old Town High School and helped form what is now the MIAAA.

Hampden Academy Bronco senior Zach Gilpin has been named Gatorade Player of the Year in Maine. Gilpin helped lead the Broncos to an Eastern Maine Class A title by averaging 23 points and 10 rebounds a game.
