Police Close to Arrest of Suspect Who Borrowed Front End Loader

Bangor Police recently posted pictures of a bizarre crime. Someone stole a battery out of a small loader, installed in a large front end loader, and then proceeded to drive the machinery. Very badly, according to the PD's Facebook page.

Police in three Maine towns are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect in four separate bank robberies. The first robbery happened in December of 2012 and the latest was just over a week ago. Police believe the same man has been responsible for all of them.

Seven Cars Involved in Accident on Interstate

White-out conditions just after noon Thursday contributed to an accident that involved seven vehicles, including three tractor trailers. One person was taken to the hospital, while all the other occupants refused medical treatment.

Crews Battle Fire At John Bapst High School in Bangor [VIDEO]

The fire at John Bapst High School is under control, according to firefighters. Motorists are still advised to avoid the area while crews continue to work at the scene on Broadway. A Facebook post from the President of Nickerson and O'Day states that the fire was started by workers clearing ice on the roof.
