Police are calling the death of a man in Houlton a homicide. Police now say the man's body was discovered by a friend who had found his truck in a snowbank about a half mile from his home. They've released the name of the man but not the manner in which he died.

Crews Clean Up After Interstate 95 Crash in Maine [Update + VIDEO]

The latest figures released by police indicate 70 vehicles involved in Wednesday's multi-car crash, 50 of which had to be towed. One tow-truck driver uploaded a video of the scene and of the job ahead of him. Motorists are being encouraged to avoid that section of I-95, for the time being.

Many of the victims of today's multi-car crash on I-95 in the Carmel area are being taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center for treatment. The hospital instructed us as to how family members can get information about their loved ones.

More Than 20 Vehicle Accident Closing I-95 Northbound [2nd UPDATE]

State Police now tell us as many as 40 vehicles may be involved in that accident that closed I-95 Northbound between Newport and Bangor. 14 people were injured but police report there are no fatalities. The MDOT reports one lane of the interstate is open to traffic.
