The Brewer Falcons are 2014 Zone 1 Legion baseball champions after beating Bangor 8-2 in the winner-take-all championship game Sunday afternoon. Both teams will play in the upcoming state tournament that begins Wednesday at the John Winkin Baseball Complex on the Husson University campus in Bangor.

The Falmouth Little League 11/12 allstars defeated Saco 13-10 to claim the 2014 state championship. Now Falmouth heads to Bristol, Connecticut for the New England Regional Tournament. The winner of that tournament will go to Williamsport, Pennsylvania and the LL World Series.
