Local fighters Jon Lemke and “The” Ryan Sanders will square off in the main event of the New England Fights card set for November 19th.
The fight will be contested at lightweight between two very well-known fighters to local mixed martial arts fans. Both Sanders and Lemke were teammates at Team Irish in Brewer, a gym owned and operated by Marcus Davis, before the former left to go and train with rival gym Young’s MMA.
Sanders (11-8) has won four of his past fights, including a decision victory over Derrick Kennington this past August in Bangor, ME on the “Looking for a Fight” card featuring Dana White in attendance. The August card was Sanders’ first back with the NEF since November 2014 as the Young’s MMA fighter had been fighting for the Toe 2 Toe and CES promotions for his prior five bouts.
