Frustration is setting in for the Boston Celtics after another ho-hum effort in a Saturday night 113-104 to the Dallas Mavs.

A quarter of the way through the regular season and the C's are 10-10.

In the constant storyline of 'who's going to come off the opponent's bench and kill the Celtics', it was JJ Barea, who torched the C's for 20 points.

Playing without Gordon Hayward who was resting his ankle, the Celtics got outscored in every quarter except the second.

Jayson Tatum scored 21. Kyrie Irving and Marcus Smart added 19.

It doesn't get any easier for the the C's. They play in New Orleans Monday night.
