It wasn't exactly a 'must  win' but the Boston Celtics certainly had lots of smiles when they beat the Philadelphia 76ers 102-92 Friday night.

The Celts lost Gordon Hayward to injury Tuesday night. The lost to a good, young Milwaukee team in their Boston Garden opener Wednesday night. Then had to be play without an injured Marcus Smart against Philly.

The C's outscored the 76ers 33-20 in the fourth quarter to take down Philly.

While Kyrie Irving scored 21 points and Al Horford had 17, it was role players like Terry Rozier (14 points) and Shane Larkin (10 points).

Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons both had double-doubles for Philly.

The 1-2 Celtics are off until they play the NY Knicks Tuesday night.
