Celtics Fall On Road
The Boston Bruins struggled to find their offense until late in the game, but found enough to pull out a 3-2 overtime win against Nashville.
Trailing one nothing in the third period, Boston got goals from Johny Boychuk and Jerome Iginla to take a lead. Overtime was needed after the Predators tied the game with just over five minutes to play. In the extra period it didn’t take long for Brad Marchand to win it with his 10th goal of the season.
The Chicago Bulls put 6 players in double figures and beat the Boston Celtics 94-82. Joakim Noah led the Bulls with 17 points while Carlos Boozer added 16. The Celtics, who never led in the game shot just 39 percent from the field and turned the ball over 20 times. Jordan Crawford was their lone bright spot scoring 27 points and dishing out 7 assists. The team returns to the Garden tonight to play New Orleans.
Despite the loss, Celtics coach Brad Stevens liked the way the team played. Check out his post-game interview below.
