Celtics guard Shane Larkin, who suffered a should injury during Game 4 of the Boston's playoff series with the Philadelphia 76ers, will be out for "the foreseeable future," Celtics coach Brad Stevens said Wednesday.

Stevens said Larkin is "very, very sore" after colliding with Joel Embiid, who was setting a screen for J.J. Redick when the injury occurred.

Larkin immediately went to the locker room and did not return.

"Imaging suggested that surgery probably won’t be needed," Stevens added.

The Celtics and 76ers will play Game 5 Wednesday night at TD Garden.

Without Larkin, Terry Rozier and Marcus Smart are the only remaining ball handlers on the Celtics' roster.
