10 days after agreeing to a deal with forward Gordon Hayward, the Boston Celtics officially announced the deal on Friday afternoon.

Boston had needed to clear cap space before making the signing official, but were able to on Friday and announced the agreement with the former Butler player.

The deal will official be worth $128 million over four years for the 27-year-old, who will be able to opt out of the deal after three seasons.

In addition to the Hayward signing being official, the Cs also agreed to a deal with Abdel Nader to a four-year contract.  The terms are for $6 million over the lifetime of the deal.  Nader was a second round pick in 2016 and was named the D-League Rookie of the Year.
