After three days off the Boston Celtics played sluggish in the first half of their game against Memphis. However it changed in the second half as the green pulled away for a 116-96 win over the Grizzlies.

The third quarter was the difference as Boston outscored Memphis 31-12 and never looked back as they placed 7 players in doubles figures.

Isaiah Thomas led the Celtics with 22 points while Evan Turner added 16 and a team high 8 assists. Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley each hit three shots from behind the arch and each finished with 15 points.

Boston has now won 14 straight games at the Garden which is their longest winning streak since the 1990-91 season when they won 18 consecutive home games. The Celtics will be at home again Friday when they hosr the Houston Rockets.
