Celts Struggle, Lose To Jazz [VIDEO]
The Boston Celtics need to get more scoring from someone not named Kyrie Irving or Al Horford. Never was it more evident than in Friday night's 107-95 loss to the Utah Jazz.
The (24-7) C's finish a 5-games-in-7-nights stretch in Memphis tonight.
Irving scored 33 points and Horford added 21 but no other Celtics player had more than nine. For instance, the other three starters - Aaron Baynes, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Taturm totaled 15 points.
Meanwhile, Gordon Hayward's former team came into Boston Garden shooting lights out. Ricky Rubio scored 22, former Celts player Jonas Jerebko had 17 points and seven rebounds. The Jazz shot almost 49% from the field.
And, they did it without the services of two of their biggest players, Rudy Gobert and and Derrick Favors, who were both injured during the game.
Speaking of injured players, Gordon Hayward was at the Garden last night to see his old team. He spoke with reporters after the game about the possiblity of coming back this year...
