Irving scored 33 points and Horford added 21 but no other Celtics player had more than nine. For instance, the other three starters - Aaron Baynes, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Taturm totaled 15 points.

Meanwhile, Gordon Hayward's former team came into Boston Garden shooting lights out. Ricky Rubio scored 22, former Celts player Jonas Jerebko had 17 points and seven rebounds. The Jazz shot almost 49% from the field.
