Maine's Steve Clifford and his Orlando Magic beat the struggling Boston Celtics Saturday night, 105-103, when the C's apparently messed up the final play of the game that could have tied or won the game.

The inconsistent Celtics have lost in Miami and now Orlando this weekend. They sit in 5th place in the Eastern Conference with a 25-17 record.

Down by two points, Gordon Hayward threw the ball in to Jayson Tatum and he took a fading corner jump shot that missed. Kyrie Irving was seen waving his arms, talking with Hayward about the play as the team walked off the floor.

Irving would not answer questions about the play after the game.

Another sign that things are just not right with this team.

Irving scored 25 points and the Celtics had double-digit leads during the game but simply let the (18-24) Magic hang around and get hot late.

Aaron Gordon had 28 and Terrance Ross had 25 to lead Orlando.
