Orono's Connor Robertson has been named First National Bank High School Athlete of the Week.

Robertson dropped 31 points in the Red Riots' 64-55 season-opening triumph over the Ellsworth Eagles last Saturday. The 6-4 senior connected on seven three-pointers.

It was an impressive return to the court for Robertson, who missed the end of last season with a knee injury.

The Red Riots, who advanced to the quarter-finals of last season's Class B North tournament, are off to a 2-0 start after defeating John Bapst, 71-59, at Orono High School on Tuesday.

Other nominees this week included Brandon Glidden of Brewer, Trinity Montigny of Ellsworth, Dom Mitchell of Old Town and Emilee Cohen of Central.
