The Red Sox lost to Houston 8-1 Sunday afternoon and it could be argued that the game turned sour for the Sox on one second inning play.

The Sox thought they had an inning ending double play. The Astros challenged the play, saying Xander Bogaerts didn't have his foot on second base when he threw to first base to get the second out. The umpire review wiped away the two outs and Jose Altuve stepped to the plate and whacked a grand slam.

After that grand slam a frustrated Sox skipper John Farrell got kicked out the of the game for arguing. The rest of the Sox team seemed to give up after that as well.
