Playing their respective regular season finales the Old Town Coyotes and Orono Red Riots battled for 4 quarters with the Coyotes coming away with the 66-57 win.Along with the win came enough heal points to move back into the number one spot in the standings.

Orono controlled the first half and led by as many as 14 points before Old Town fought back to cut the deficit to four points at halftime. Andre Miller, Kaleb Gifford and Drew Coulombe would spark the Coyotes in the second and outscore the Riots 36-23 to close out the win and improve to 15-3.

Coulombe finished with 16 points and was clutch form the line over the final two quarters. He was 6-8 in the second half from the line including 5-6 over the final 2 minutes of the game. Ryan Hoogterp scored a game high 17 points that included four 3-pointers. Miller added 14 points and Chad Bartlett 10.

Orono finished the regular season with a 14-4 record and was led by Jake Koffman's 14 points.

Old Town's stay in the top spot might last just a day as MDI and Ellsworth play ther finale tonight which will surely shake up the standings again.
