Make to back-to-back-to-back Maine Women's Amateur Golf championships for Bangor's Staci Creech. At the Martindale course in Auburn, Creech held off Bailey Plourde to claim her third straight title.

Creech and Plourde made this year's tournament a two player race. They were tied after round one when each player shot 1-over par 71. Creech grabbed a three shot lead over Bailey after two rounds. No other player was within eight strokes.

Then today in the final round, Creech shot a 74 while Plourde finished with a 76. It's a five stroke victory for Creech.

Earlier this month, Creech finished 4th in the New England Women's Amateur. Next month, she will compete in a qualifying event in order to earn a spot in the USGA Women's Mid-Amateur to be held in the fall.
