Creech Leads By 2 Into Final Round [SCORES]

New York pro golfer Matthew Campbell blistered the Augusta Country Club course for a 7-under par 63 to win the Charlie's Maine Open by one shot.

Campbell bogeyed the second hole but then finished the round with eight birdies. His 131 total score was one better than David Hilgers.

Greater Bangor Open winner Jon McLean finished in a tie for 9th place.

At the Maine Women's Amateur at the Biddeford-Saco CC, Staci Creech (Bangor Muni) leads heading into the final round on Wednesday. Creech followed up a first round 75 with a second day 77. That two day total of 152 is two shots better the Emily Bouchard(Bidd-Saco CC) at 154.
