C’s Begin Exhibition Schedule Tonight

Somehow it is fitting that the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers play each other in the first preseason game of the season tonight at Boston Garden.

The C's and 76ers were two of the youngest and worst teams in the league a year ago.

Brad Stevens begins his second year as Celtics coach. His team has some injuries in the preseason, most notably Rajon Rondo and his broken finger. #1 draft pick Marcus Smart is also nursing a leg injury.

Maine's Brett Brown begins his second year as Philly coach. Back in August, Brown was inducted into the Maine Basketball Hall of Fame.
