The Boston Celtics played their first home game Friday night after that long six game road trip and laid a first half egg. The C's wound up losing to Houston 93-87.

The Rockets scored 60 first half points and the C's found themselves down by 19 points.

The second half was better for Boston, outscoring the Rockets 45-33 and climbed back to within three points at times. But the C's could never get closer.

Donatas Motiejunas scored a career  high 26 points to lead Houston.

Bandon Bass and Marcus Thornton each with 17 for Boston.

The Rockets are 33-14, the C's are 16-29.
