Kevin Garnett will not play when the Boston Celtics take on the New York Knicks Tuesday night. C's president Danny Ainge says KG has ankle inflammation.

Don't look for Garnett to play against the Knicks and don't expect him to play for about two weeks, according to Ainge who spoke with reporters at Monday's practice. The team wants to be over cautious with KG as the regular season winds down. A healthy Garnett is a must at playoff time.
