C’s Vs Heat: D-League

The Maine Red Claws play their final home game before Christmas tonight at the Expo in Portland and the NBA D-League team will try to improve on an already good start to the season. The Red Claws are 5-2 and in second place in their division.

The opponent is the Sioux Falls Skyforce with a 6-2 record.

While Maine is affiliated with the Celtics, the Skyforce is affiliated with the Miami Heat.

The D-League teams play a 48 game regular season and feed players to the NBA. The LA Lakers just called up Kendall Marshall as a replacement for the injured Kobe Bryant.

The Red Claws have yet to have a player called up to the NBA this season.
