Maine Olympic biathlete Russell Currier missed making the cut for today's 12.5km Pursuit event by one place in the standings. Only the top 60 finishers from Saturday's 10km got in the Pursuit competition. Currier finished 61st.

That means Currier's next Olympic race is Thursday morning in the 20km Individual Event.

Today's 12.5km Pursuit event was won by Martin Fourcade (France).

The top American finisher was Tim Burke who finished in 22nd place.
