Curry Edges MMA 42-41

Maine Maritime Academy and Curry College combined to put 83 points on the scoreboard and in the end a PAT was the difference between a win and a loss.

The high scoring affair was interesting in that the Mariners and Colonels were never more than a touchdown apart.

MMA quarterback Corey Creeger scored four TDs. James Ferrar rushed for 128 yards on 28 carries.

Curry was led by QB Alex Corvese. He threw five TD passes and was 30-for-52 for 305 yards.

In the 4th quarter, MMA scored on their opening drive but failed on a 2-point conversion run.

Later in the 4th, Curry scored on a touchdown pass and kicked a PAT for the one point win.

MMA drops to 1-5 (0-4 NEFC). Curry gets its first conference win (3-3, 1-3).
