Steph Curry will be announced the winner of the 2015-16 NBA Most Valuable Player award, according to ESPN.  Curry helped lead the Warriors to the best regular season record in NBA history and won the award last year as well.

Curry scored 2,375 points over the 82-game season and averaged 30.1 points per contest as well.  In addition to leading the league in scoring, he also set records with his three-point shooting, including hitting over 45 percent from beyond the arc and making 402 triples during the season.  Curry becomes just the 13th player of all-time to win the MVP award more than once and became the first player to score over 30 points per game, while playing 35 minutes or less on average per contest.

The official announcement will like come after game four of the Golden State and Portland series when the series shifts back to California.
