Danes Vs Seawolves For America East Title

The Albany Great Danes and the Stony Brook Seawolves come out of the America East Tournament with two teams in the conference championship game. Both the men's and women's teams get to play for the right to be in the NCAA tournament.

The women's title game is today at 4pm. The top ranked Albany team plays #2 Stony Brook for the championship.

The Danes beat Hartford in the semis 65-51 (Hartford beat UMaine in the Q-Finals). The Seawolves beat UNH 79-59 in the other semi.

On the men's side, Albany was a #4 seed and knocked off #1 Vermont in the semi-final 67-58. Stony Brook (the Seawolves beat UMaine in the Q-Finals) beat Hartford 69-64 in the other semi.

The men's championship game is Saturday morning at 11:30am.
