When the Boston Bruins play the Blackhawks today in a crucial late season game in Chicago, the B's are likely to face former UMaine goalie Scott Darling.

Darling has started eight straight games since starter Corey Crawford has been out of the lineup with an undisclosed injury. The team is 4-3-1 without Crawford in goal.

Darling has now played in 26 games for the defending Stanley Cup champs. His record is 10-8-3 with a 2.57 GAA. Darling's save percentage is .912%.

The Blackhawks will be without standout defenseman Duncan Keith. He is serving a 6-game suspension for an illegal hit.

After Detroit's 3-2 win over Toronto Saturday night, the Bruins find themselves out of the playoffs at the moment, trailing the Red Wings by one point. They can move back into a playoff spot  with a win today.
