In the wind and rain of Scotland, Phil Mickelson shot a 2-under par 69 and leads at the halfway mark of the British Open. He is 10-under after two rounds.

Henrik Stenson made the biggest gain, a 6-under 65 puts him one stroke behind Mickelson.
