The Bangor hockey team continued its dominant play Saturday with an 8-3 win over Scarborough, the number one team in Western Maine.Trevor Delaite notched a hat trick by scoring a goal in each of the three periods and also assisted on the Rams fourth goal of the game. Bangor jumped out to a two nothing lead after the first period of play on goals by Delaite and Jake Fournier.

The Red Storm scored consecutive goals after the Rams took a three nothing lead early in the second period before Sam Houston made it 4-2 at the end of two.

Bangor had to kill off a penalty to start the third period and did so successfully. Soon after, Nick Graham and Sam Kenny each scored in a span of 30 seconds to take a commanding 6-2 lead. Justin Courtney had the other Bangor goal as they improve to 11-2 on the season and take over the top spot in the Eastern Maine heal points.
