Dice-K No Help To Mets

Red Sox fans can take heart that Daisuke Matsuzaka is wearing a Mets uniform these days instead of a Sox uniform. In his first three starts for the lowly Mets his ERA is 10.95. Ouch!

Dice-K spent most of this season with the Cleveland Indians Triple-A team. They released him August 20th and two days later the 32-year-old Dice-K signed with New York.

He gave up 6 runs in just 3 innings vs Atlanta on Monday. He is now 0-3 with that 10.95 ERA.

Kind of makes you appreciate Koji Uehara even more, huh!
