What looked to be a blowout early with Bangor leading Brewer 5-0, turned out to be very competitive with the Rams holding on for a 6-4 win at Sawyer Arena.Bangor led 5-0 at the 8:37 mark of the second period thanks to Jordan Tracy who had two goals and an assist. It seemed at that point like the Rams would cruise to a win, but the young Brewer Witches team did not give up and scored the next four goals to make it 5-4 with 5:46 to play.

Senior Gabe Valley had two of those goals, the second coming short handed. Cam Dickson would score his second of the game to cap the scoring with under 2:30 to go in the contest and make it a 6-4 final.

Bangor improves to 2-1 and play at Falmouth on Saturday while the Witches suffer their first loss and drop to 2-1.
