LA Clippers coach Doc Rivers has signed a new deal that keeps him in Clipperland through the 2018-19 season a both head coach and president of basketball operations.

The contract pays Rivers over $10-million-dollars a year. He still has two years left on the deal he signed when he came to LA from the Boston Celtics.

Rivers was front and center on the controversy over former Clippers owner Donald Sterling and threatened to leave LA if Sterling was still around.

Steve Ballmer is now owner of the Clippers.
