doc2  It appears that Doc Rivers is now the former Celtics head coach and the new Clippers head coach.Several reports out of Boston and Los Angeles indicate that the two teams have agreed on a deal that would send Rivers to the Clippers in exchange for a first round draft pick in 2014 or 2015. The final piece of the puzzle is Rivers agreeing and signing a contract with LA. All indications is that he will sign for 3 years at 21 million which is what was remaining on the original deal he signed with the Celtics.

The teams now have to submit paperwork to the league office Monday morning and then wait for approval.
