Doc Rivers Vs C’s Tonight

Rivers and GM Danny Ainge admit the ending this summer didn't go as planned. When the decision was made to rebuild and trade Paul Pierce/Kevin Garnett, Doc said he really didn't want to go through a construction job even though he had a contract with the C's. Ainge tried to talk him into staying but they ended up parting ways. Doc took the Clippers job, Ainge hired Brad Stevens.
The Celtics enter the game in first place in the Atlantic Division with a 10-12 record. Doc's Clippers are in first place out west with a 14-8 record.
