Donovan Mitchell scored 28 points and added six assists, helping lead the Jazz to a 98-86 win over the Boston Celtics on Saturday night at TD Garden.

Mitchell shot 10-of-21 from the field and 5-of-12 from three-point range.

Ricky Rubio scored 20 points for Utah, while Rudy Gobert chipped in 12 points and nine rebounds and Derrick Favors added 10 points and eight boards.

Kyrie Irving scored a team-high 20 points for the Celtics, who lost to the Jazz for the second time in eight days.

The only other Celtic to score in double figures was Jayson Tatum, who finished with 10 points.

The Celtics trailed just 50-45 at the half, but Boston shot just 8-for-26 from the field in the third quarter and played much of the period without Irving, who picked up his fifth foul with 5:12 remaining in the quarter.

The Jazz swept its season series with the Celtics and snapped its two game losing streak.

The Celtics next play on Monday against the Charlotte Hornets at the Spectrum Center.
