The Washington Capitals put the puck past Tuukka Rask twice in the first seven minutes of the game and it was over. The Caps stop the Bruins 3-0 and that puts even more pressure on the Bruins with two games remaining.

Caps goalie Braden Holtby now has three shutouts over the B's this year.

No time to dwell on that for the Bruins. A game against the Florida Panthers tonight and the regular season finale Saturday night at Tampa Bay.

At the moment, the B's hold down that 8th spot for the playoffs by virtue of two more regulation and overtime wins than Ottawa. The B's and Senators both have 95 points in the standings.
