Pedro Martinez was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown yesterday, and there is just about zero doubt that Pedro belongs there among the all-time greats.

Yesterday was also a big day for David Ortiz, who smashed two home runs and drove in a career-high seven runs as the Sox took a weekend series with the Detroit Tigers.  With Big Papi getting towards the end of his career, it will be interesting to see if he gets the call to be enshrined five or more years after he decides to call it quits.  Ortiz is one of the most clutch performers in baseball history and is closing in on 500 home runs, but being a designated hitter and the looming cloud of the steroid era could potentially hold him out.  Today, we want to know...
