Husson University senior Gavin Dugas fired a 4-over par 67 at Bangor Municipal Golf Course Sunday to lead his Eagles to the Maine Intercollegiate Golf Championship.

Dugas, who shot even par 71 on Saturday,  had a two day total of 138 (-4) and won tourney medalist. He was the only golfer in the tournament to finish under par.

The Eagles team total of 574 (+6) was 10 shots better than second place University of Southern Maine.

11 college golf teams from Maine schools competed in Bangor this weekend.

The other golfers on the Husson team helped score the team points by finishing in the top 10. Mackenzie Clow tied for 3rd place (+3). Eric Dugas and Taylor Morang tied for 7th place (+7). Daulton Wickenden tied for 9th (+9).
